Road
There is a direct and well-maintained road from Delhi to Jaipur. The distance from Delhi to Jaipur being only 258 kms the city is connected to most of the tourist destinations in Rajasthan as well as Agra. Buses and trains are commonly used means of transportation.

Railways
The best way to travel between Jaipur and Delhi is by railways. It takes less than 5 hours by the train to reach Jaipur from Delhi. Delhi-Jaipur railways connects the two cities. Other scheduled trains are also available to travel to most destinations within and outside Jaipur. Delhi-Jaipur 'Palace On Wheels' provides the luxurious one. Other important trains from Delhi include, Shatabdi Express and Pink City Express both.

Air
The Jaipur Airport is about 15 kilometres from the Jaipur City. Jaipur's domestic airport provides flights to New Delhi and Mumbai as well as to several other cities with domestic airports. Airlines operating from Jaipur Airport are Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Sahara Airlines.
