Jaipur constitutes the capital city of Rajasthan. The city is
popularly known as Pink City and is a good tourist place. There are
so many places to be explored in Jaipur. The city's prime attraction
are monuments built by the late kings of this places. Besides
monuments many excursion places are spread throughout the city
premises. Jaipur lakes constitute such places and provide means of
recreation and amusement.
There are not many lakes in Jaipur city but the few city has are
quite adequate to supplement the overall package. Jaipur lakes are
fresh water lakes and provide habitat to many species of animals.
The lakes are favorite places for bird-watching. Many species of
rare birds, both resident and migratory, flourish at these places.
The lakes are good places for angling as well. The lakes of Jaipur
include Ramgarh, Chhaparwara and Kukas.
