Jaipur, which is 260 km. from Delhi and 240 km. from Agra,
constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727. He was not only
a great ruler also a mathematician and astrologer. Vidhydhar
Bhattacharya designed Jaipur as per the Hindu treatise, Shilp
Shastra. You can see enchanting palaces, forts, temples, gardens,
shopping centers in Jaipur. It is one of India's prime tourist
destinations, which attracts a lot of people in all over the world.
The best time to visit here is mid September to March.
Developed by Acharya Ram Charan Sharma "Vyakul in 1960. Museum
of Indology has an excellent private collection of folk and Tantric
art objects, paintings done on rice, manuscripts, ornaments,
fossils, clocks and currency notes etc. Within the museum, a popular
Birla Narayan Mandir and Fort of Moti Dungri are situated.
