Situated on the ridge of Aravali Hills, the Nahargarh fort is also
popularly known as the Tiger Fort. The fort initial shape was given
by Sawai Jai Singh in 1734 that was later enlarged. Its present
shape was given by Sawai Madho Singh in 1885. The edifice has nine
identical suites and each one of them provide magnificent views down
to the Man Sagar Lake from the windows.You'll be delighted to see
the decorative motifs adorned in the rooms of Nahargarh fort. In the
midst of this lake is a palatial duck blind which was used for
shooting.
The fort spread to the top of the hill from where one can see the
entire city of Jaipur bathed in the early morning sunrise or else
enjoy the stunning sunset view over the city. The drive to the fort
is also full of interesting views.

Nahargarh Biological Park
The biological park is spread over 7.2-sq-kms of the Nahargarh
sanctuary and located in the vicinity of Nahargarh fort. It includes
of granite rocks, and the vegetation of the region is adequately
represented through tropical dry deciduous and tropical thorn
forests.
Today, the park has Tiger, Leopard, Asiatic Lion, Sloth Bear,
Caracal, and several species of Deer, Gharial, Crocodile Pangolin
Jackal, Wild Dog, Wolf, Hyena, Jungle Civet and Fishing Cats, Ratel,
Common and Desert Fox, Rhesus Monkey and Langur.
